The Student Spotlight
January-February 2018

This month in the spotlight, we're featuring the WINNERS of the $250.00 grand prize in our SkillsUSA/Lowe's Community Outreach Challenge:

This amazing team led by trio Miguel Lira, Hailey Clardy-Lemist and James Hudson, wowed our Lowe's judges and Skills Alumni with their engaging and informative tops station. The judges were impressed by their ability to attract visitors attention, the hands-on value of the experience, and their use of PPE's in the shop area. Congratulations on a job well done!

September-October 2017

This month in the spotlight, we're featuring:
NATIONAL bronze medalist in Esthetics, Jessica Paleologos and her model, Marizelly Oliva!

This dynamic duo took Nationals by storm, placing 3rd in the nation as sophomores. In addition to facial, daytime/evening make-up, a written test and an oral presentation, Jessica transformed Marizelly into an eagle for the fantasy make-up challenge, Flora and Fauna. Check out her work here, and on the photo page.
